Are there any hidden costs or transaction charges?
We stand for complete honesty and transparency in business. On our website you will never pay anything more than what you see as display price.
Our no gimmicks one fair price policy states that
1. We will not charge you any thing other than the display price of all the products we sell
2. We will not hide charges in fine prints or terms and conditions page
3. We will not invite customers showing them half-truth information in advertisements. Such as $4 domain names, when that price is only available with either hosting purchase or with some useless domain name extension.
4. We will actively inform and advice customers about the dubious practices of our competitors on our web-page
Following is the list of dubious practices followed by some of the Internet shops
1. Half Truth Promotions: Use catchy promotional price to attract you to their website. The reality is that the promotional price is only available with some expensive add-on product or on a product that no one wants. ADPS policy is to tell you the complete truth. We respect the value of your time and effort. With our transparent pricing, you need not spend time watching out for hidden costs.
2. Credit card charges: Some companies charge you as much as 7% of total billing as credit card transaction charges. You may not even know until after you have paid for the service. 7% is huge it means if a company displays $8.99 as price, you actually end-up paying $9.62 for it
3. Hiding prices in fine print or in font smaller than the list price, one example of such practice is ICANN fee of 25 cents on every domain name
4. Hiding prices on terms and conditions page
On our website you will never pay anything other than what you see as display price.

Must Read before Choosing hosting company and a domain name provider.
Four critical questions you must ask before signing up for a website hosting company or domain names regisration company.
Tip 1: Does the company you are considering offer transparent pricing i.e. No Hidden Costs?
A lot of companies today show very attractive listing price and hide up-to 10% of charges in fine print or in some inaccessible corners of the website. Make sure what you see as the list price is what actually you pay. For example, some companies will add as much as 7% for credit card transaction charges and that is a lot of money. You would not even know until you paid for the product.
We offer honest and transparent low price everyday, day after day. What you see in the list price is what you actually pay. There is no hidden cost anywhere in fine print, terms and conditions or credit card transaction charges.
Hidden costs are first very visible signal of the company’s dubious intentions. We always put our customers first and we do not promise or show anything that is not true!
Tip 2. Be aware of scam plans, unlimited bandwidth is a myth!
If it sounds too good too be true it usually is! All hosts have the same basic limitations when it comes to server resources and specs.
There is no magic server that has a never ending supply of RAM and CPU. If a host ever claims to give unlimited space or bandwidth DO NOT JOIN THEM. The thing to remember is that the average web site uses about 50 Megs space and less then 1 gig bandwidth a month. So what hosting companies do is they lie! They make up scam plans with tons of space and unlimited bandwidth for around $8 bucks a month. It\'s a numbers game.... Only 5-10 of every 100 people that signup on the plan are going to use more than the1 gigs bandwidth. So what do they do? They terminate the sites that use more bandwidth saying "your site is using too many resources."
They aren\'t lying about the resource usage it\'s the truth! Most people don\'t realize that bandwidth and space used have nothing to do with the server resources being used. Resource usage has to do with the amount of CPU and RAM a site uses. If a site uses their 50 gigs bandwidth they aren\'t kicked for using their bandwidth they are kicked for using up most of the servers CPU and RAM.
For example, If a company hosted 200 sites per server and 2% of the server used the 50 gigs bandwidth that would equal 200 gigs bandwidth a month used on the server. If they don\'t kick those sites using it, those 4 sites are going to be using more resources then all 196 sites on the server combined. So think about it, would a hosting company boot 4 people paying $8 bucks a month in order to double the amount of sites they can hold on the server? You bet they would!
3. Domain Name Tips
Double check if the domain name registration is going to bear your name and that you will have complete control of your domain name for the life. Do not purchase your domain name from a provider, unless you are positive they will be putting your information in the whois. (We do most don\'t)
If your information isn\'t in the whois they could blackmail you into staying with them. For all technical purposes whoever has their information in the whois is the owner. A domain owner doesn\'t go by who paid for it; it goes by whose information is on the whois.
We suggest you purchase your domain name from a company which gives you complete control over your domain name. After you purchase the name, all you would do is put your host\'s dns in and your domain name will then point to your hosting company.
adps-domain gives you complete control over your domain name. Visit our knowledgebase for more details.
4. Uptime Guarantee
If a hosting company claims 100% uptime they are lying. All servers need to be rebooted every now and then for security and software updates. If they never reboot that means their server is insecure and they will eventually be hacked.
When a company guarantees an uptime that doesn\'t make it true. A host has as many uptimes as they have servers. It all depends on what server they put you on, and how well they manage it from the time your put on it. We guarantee a 99.9 uptime but that does not mean we will hit it every month for eternity. Our guarantee means we give you a 100% refund for the month if we should not hit it. Many hosting companies will give you a prorated refund based on the amount of downtime. So say you pay $10 for a month of hosting your site is down for 24 / hours. They will refund you for one day of downtime which ends up being about 33 cents. A guarantee is worthless! What is worth something is how they define the guarantee, and if they do in fact honor it.
Good luck in choosing a hosting and domain names provider that suits your needs! What is CGI Hosting?

Why ADPS does not become a registrar of domain names?
We are a domain name reseller of Direct Information Pvt. Ltd. We did consider option of becoming a registrar ourselves. Looking at the economics of the business, we found that we can serve our customers better if we resell domain names from an ICANN accredited registrar, following are some of the reasons.
A registrar needs to invest a lot of money in IT systems and infrastructure upfront and can not recover that money unless they take a fat margin on the domain names they sell. You can checkout yourself
A. Direct Information has a retail price of $12.99 on its domain names
C. Network solutions, another registrar, sells, domain names for $35.
D. All the reseller of these registrar get far lower rates and can offer all the feature that a registrar can offer its customers directly, nobody will become a reseller unless they did so.
As a reseller, we can offer you all the features with domain name as if you were buying from the registrar directly. It is same as buying from a wholesaler and selling at a retail shop. Customers get the same brand, same feature as they would have received from the company directly, but for far cheaper prices.
The crux of the story is that we can provide our customers better value if we resell the domain names from a full feature registrar such as Direct Information Pvt. Ltd (http://www.directi.com)
