How do I Register a Domain Names with ADPS?
Use following steps to register a Domain Name with ADPS
1. Check whether domain name you want to register is available for registration. You can use domain name search box for checking the availability of the name.
2. The next page tells you whether the name you want is available. This page also tells you additional extensions that are available for registration.
3. If the name you want is not available, search for similar names until you find one that is available for registration.
4. On next screen, you can select more than one available extension for your domain name. We suggest, you register your domain name under at least three most popular extensions i.e. .com, .net and .org. By doing this, you can make sure that someone other that you does not come up with a website with your domain name and another popular extension
5. Select number of years for which you want to register these domain names.
6. Next page suggests additional ADPS services, you may want to buy with your domain name. Choose one that is appropriate for you and continue with checkout process.
7. Proceed to checkout and payment
8. W will register your domain name within 24 hours of receipt of your payment. This is the latest, usually it is much faster.
NOTE – You must mention two name server for registering .biz, .info, .org and .name extensions. If you register .us domain name, these name servers should be registered in USA.

How to Manage Child Name Servers / Register Name Servers?
Child Name Servers are Name Servers that are registered with the Registry under your Domain Name. Before you can use child name servers as name servers, you need to register Name Servers with the Registry. Only owner of the domain name can register Child Name Servers.
For example, if you are an owner of xyz.com, you can register a Child Name Server ns2.xyz.com
Use following simple steps to add Child Name Servers for your domain name
1. Click on the Account Menu and then click on Manage Domains option. You can find Account Menu in the menu bar at the top of every page of the website.
2. Login to your domain name control area using your email address and password. Click of Domains menu option and then choose search option followed by domain name search option, i.e., Domains Search Domain Name Search
3. Now click on domain name. On the next screen click on the Manage Child Name Server button.
4. Now enter the hostname of the Child Name Server you wish to add in the Add New Child Name Server box. Provide IP address for the name server and proceed. Your can register up to 13 Child Name Servers for your domain name.
Use following simple steps to modify or to delete Child Name Servers for your domain name
1. Follow steps from step 1 to step 3 as listed above.
2. To modify Child Name Server information, provide new information on the next screen and click on modify button.
3. To delete a child name server, click on the delete button.
Apart from the steps above, you need to configure your DNS Servers and bind the required IP Addresses to them. Additionally, in your DNS Record for the zone xyz.com you will have to add the required \'A\' records or \'CNAME\' record for the above Child Name Servers.
